Our eco-luxury home for the week, Tri Lanka, is set upon the shores of Koggala Lake, one of the biggest natural lakes in Sri Lanka. Home to an abundance of natural wildlife, with over 50 species of birds recorded on their site, from tiny sunbirds to loud and proud peacocks, chattering parakeets to graceful eagles. This is pure nature in her most wild and abundant form.

Aside from the beautiful daily yoga practices with Steffy, we’ll visit local temples and see wild, tropical nature at it’s finest… You'll also have time to explore the beautiful sleepy old town of Galle, where you’ll find plenty of opportunity to shop for the islands unique handicrafts and local art.
Or alternatively indulge in one of the many available beautiful treatments… Hang on your balcony, dip in one of the three pools and watch thousands of birds fly over the sunset.

YOGA | STEFFY WHITE
Steffy White's inspired and beautifully balanced teaching incorporates her years of study and multiple trainings, with her deep love for all things yoga. Her playful and imaginative practices and intuitive, expansive and joyful.

”I was first introduced to yoga at the age of 13 but it wasn’t until my early 20’s that I really found the meaning of yoga and brought the foundations of the practice into my daily life. I live by way the of yoga, allowing the teachings to ripple through the whole of my life and my choices. The practice has completely transformed my life, my way of thinking, the little moments in between the big moments, I’m truly grateful for it all, it’s a humbling process. To learn and re learn over and over. For me yoga is the path of growth and of freedom. I make a daily choice to grow and awaken to all that surrounds me with gratitude. The more grateful I become the more I live with purpose. Yoga continues to teach me every day, on and off the mat and it’s the biggest honour to get to share it with so many people. Teaching feels like the greatest gift, it’s amazing to witness the potential of the human being and the great capacity for love. For me as a teacher that’s what I hope to share, our capacity to love and be loved is limitless. The energy that fills the space, the grace that I feel by the wisdom that visits, it’s the most rewarding, beautiful thing in the world to get to share yoga. I have completed over 1000 hours of trainings, from India to Bali I’ve travelled far to my teachers. I’ve trained in ashtanga vinyasa, rocket yoga, mandala vinyasa, yin yoga and the chakras, meridian theory, acro vinyasa yoga and pre and post natal and baby massage. My style is fluid, playful and always evolving. It’s a total joy to get to share the magic of yoga and it gives me goosebumps to focus on how grateful I am to get to do this and to meet you. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming to practice with me.”

Leading twice daily yoga asana sessions, with a  dynamic flow focus in the morning and yin in the evening, her nurturing yet challenging practice is always delivered with a smile. Alongside the physical practice, guests can experience breath practice (pranayama) and guided meditations.

FOOD | CHAYA KITCHEN
Chaya's Lucy Hill, aka Chaya Kitchen, will co-curate the menus throughout the trip, which will be delicious, highly nutritious and plant-based, with a focus on integrating a raw food aspect to the tasty local Sri Lankan recipes. Utilising the incredible tropical local ingredients, Tri’s very own kitchen garden for the freshest seasonal produce, expect fresh, high-vibration gourmet meals to delight the palette and nourish the body.

WELLBEING FOOD WORKSHOP | LUCY HILL
Lucy will be hosting a 2-hour workshop during the week covering ‘Wellbeing Food’. The workshop will discuss what wellbeing eating is and how to support the body to thrive not just survive. We’ll look at simple and effective ways to upgrade the way you eat for better health; with a focus on creating delicious, energising meals and snacks. All meaning you feel inspired and in the know, about how to feel amazing through the way you eat.

TRAVEL
The nearest airport in Colombo is a couple of hours drive away from Tri. We will align you with other travellers arriving at the same time and provide transfers to and from the airport.
